Default who else agrees with me

i been thinking about the money from drops and the lack of. when you go in places like tombs-uw they enemy drop lets say 150g that has to be shared by 8 people thats like 20-25g or somethign stupid. and we u look at the quests at the begginign they give you max of 500g from a quest in lions arch.

so who agrees that there should be higher amounts of money dropped of the enemy is higher level places and more money from quests. im hoping this is in factions. by the way i have quite a bit of money but ti shouldnt take you like 9 months of palying=over 4000hours to get like 600k. its stupid in my opinon.

anet say factions have higher rewards from quests but if its items thats no good is you need money because the items wont sell beause everyone can get them by just doing the quest.

i dont mind if you dont agree its my opinion and loads of my mates agree to so i wanted to see what everyone else thinks of this.

im sorry but i disagree i play gw for about 4 hours a night and some of that is standing around talking to guildies and in 3 weeks i earn 700k.Think less of the gold thats dropped as i couldnt care less about how much gold is dropped ,but think of the items dropped that increase your wealth after each run.

I totally agree. If they're gonna determine your wealth by a lucky drop or item mod, then it may take forever for one to get rich off anything. I remember I once got a gold drop for for a little over 300 gold, at first I was like, "Yes!", but after picking it up I looked around at the henches and was kind of mad.

*grumble grumble* "Stupid henches... what are they gonna spend it on anyway?"

sorry i don't agree.

if all the "high" places drop more gold then more people would be flooding the area.
more gold just killing stuff makes buying everying at LA or Droknar even more easyer to buy

I have 29 unspent skillpoints. Why not sell them at 5K each?

I went with friends in the tombs a couple of times, made it all the way to the temple, and the best I have had drop was 1 purple max axe, wich we died before I could get it. The money and drops weren't there, never been back.

I've been thinking about taking my necro into UW or FoW, but I have heard one to many stories and I am a bit leary about wasting my time.

Oooo, I likes that idea. I've got hundreds spread over different chars.

It's luck of the draw. I went to FoW earlier this week and got 3 shards and a Gold max Chaos axe (Req 8) that I made a nice chunk of change off of. I went two more times and got squat. You never know. If you're with a good group though, it's fun and the drops don't matter as much (to me).

No, you properly did "Divinity Coast" and you "saved" some chosen, you'll get a reward at the end of the mission.

Go solo, or bring less henchies, gold is easy as it is to obtain than regular gold drops.

I have noticed that the split with henchies is a little messed up though. It's not anywhere close to even. Example I pick up a 150 gold drop. I currently have 120 in my inventory and two henchies with me. That's a 3 way split or should be. Ok so that should give us each 50 gold. Does it? Well I decided to watch so I crack open inventory and I watch my gold I go from 120 to 143. I kid you not. I haven't bothered to try to duplicate the experiement but if I do I'll frap it and let you guys see what I'm talking about.

This game is farmed enough. Increasing the amount of gold drops would only encourage more farming and with the larger influx of gold prices would inflate. This in turn would force those like myself to farm even more just to afford less sought after items and not just the more popular items as the current situation stands. Oh but one persons farming has no affect on anothers game play I forgot cough, cough, BS, cough....

I question the use of gold and why there is pressure to get them.. but that would be another topic...

In group, you get less gold, but you would also kill them faster, thus would even out. However, yes, I do think the gold drop by the mob in higher level places is too low... but they are low for reasons, I think.

So maybe an adjusted gold drop system? So if you are solo, you would get about 150gold per drop... where if you are in a group of 8, maybe they would drop 600 gold to be shared. something of that sort.

I solo in the desert with Monk for gold and drops, and get alot of gold, so I don't realy have this problem....

Raising the amount of golf found in the game just raises the prices of everything, explain to me how this accomplishes anything? You want twice as much gold so your runes will cost twice as much?, or so Farmers will start charging 3 times as much for rare mods?

Raising gold drops does absolutely nothing. Instead raise material drops, rune drops, rare mod drops and quality, or even assign lower prices for materials on traders to institute better sales, and adding mod and weapon sellers to cities, these would reduce costs making the gold you already find worth more.

Welfare programs always blow, just giving people more money will screw the economy.

Parties can already get more gold and drops by killing faster, and they are less vulnerable then a solo farmer. Besides, they payed 1 platnium by themselves to farm themselves in UW.

There is enough gold in players pockets already.
Economy needs IMHO just more goldsinks. Not more money to the streets.

We have enough inflation as is. Having more money in an econmy does not make stuff cheaper.

Money drops were already increased 10-100 fold. Imagine killing a uberboss and splitting 1 gold 8 ways. (Yes that was the old GW)

/unsigned so much that it removes all the other signeds.
